Boards and Committees

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, consisting of no less than five members, is responsible for the direction and management of the affairs of the Driftwood HCS and control and disposition of its properties and funds.

Residents Advisory Panel (RAP)

The RAP assists the Board by gathering information and input from the Driftwood community regarding issues identified by the Board. The RAP also forms work groups to perform identified tasks and serves as a liaison to the Board and various representative groups involved and interested in the Onion Creek Valley.

Roads Advisory Group

The mission of the Roads Advisory Group is to review current and proposed roads and to create solutions for better safety and good traffic flow, while maintaining our unique community character.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee focuses on obtaining new members, maintaining existing members and developing systems to manage our membership.

Area Definition Committee

The committee focuses on three goals - 1) define the boundaries of the Driftwood Core and Driftwood Area of Influence, 2) develop signage to denote entry points into the Driftwood Core Area and 3) Locate, photograph, describe and publish local historical sites.

Development Committee

The Development’s Committee’s role is to acquire the funds necessary to meet DHCS’s obligations such as operations, special events, and fundraising operations and campaigns for emerging needs and opportunities.

Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee maintains the nature trails, coordinates r0ad cleanup efforts and makes recommendations to the Board regarding the enhancement of beauty of public areas.
