Boards and Committees

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, consisting of no less than five members, is responsible for the direction and management of the affairs of the Driftwood HCS, control and disposition of its properties and funds.

Residents Advisory Panel (RAP)

The RAP serves as a liaison to the Board and various representative groups involved and interested in the Onion Creek Valley. The RAP gathers information from the community and as directed by the Board forms work groups to address the goals of the DHCS.

Roads Advisory Group (ROADS)

The mission of the ROADS is to review current and proposed roads and to create solutions for better safety and good traffic flow, while maintaining our unique community character.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee focuses on obtaining new members, maintaining existing members and developing systems to manage our membership.

Area Definition Committee

The committee met numerous times over the past year focusing on three goals - 1) define the boundaries of the Driftwood Core and Driftwood Area of Influence, 2) develop a sign to denote entry points into the Driftwood Core Area and 3) Locate, photograph, describe and publish local historical sites.

Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee maintains the nature trails, coordinates r0ad cleanup efforts and makes recommendations to the Board regarding the enhancement of beauty of public areas.
