Beautification Committee Update

Committee Chair: Bob Deaton

Our first Don’t Mess with Texas Road Cleanup of 2025 was a huge success! FM150 is now 18 bags of trash and 1 tailgate cleaner! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for an amazing road cleanup and for keeping Driftwood beautiful! Check out our Facebook or Instagram for photos from the day.

Did you know that there is a birding station in Driftwood? Supported by volunteers from Hays County Master Naturalists, we participate in Project Feederwatch sponsored by The Cornell Lab. We need volunteers on Friday and Saturday mornings to count birds at the feeders. Volunteers are expected to watch for at least an hour and email a completed tally form to the local coordinator. More detailed instructions are available at Project Feederwatch. Interested? If you feel ready, you can sign up here to volunteer. Stop by the bird blind open house on Saturday, February 15th to learn more!
