Elder Hill Construction Partial Closures 9/15 and 9/16

From Hays County regarding the repaving of Elder Hill Road:

Hays County has a paving contractor resurfacing Elder Hill between FM150 and RR 12. On Thursday 9/15 and Friday 9/16 from 12pm to 5pm the contractor will need to close down east bound traffic on Elder Hill at the intersection of Elder Hill and RR 12.

They will have a pilot truck moving the west bound traffic towards RR12. They currently have message boards out on RR 12 giving advance notice. The detour will be RR 12 North to FM 150 to Elder Hill. The need for this is to allow for asphalt placement, rolling, and cool off for traffic. Our understanding is that the buses only go west bound, so there shouldn’t be much of a delay for them.
